Huskihaus Dmitri CD 1974-1988
(Troll's Tumak of Seabreese x Snoshu's Tai Tai of Hushihaus)
Command Lead Dog, Iditarod Veteran, ISHC Iditarod Award,
ISHC Limited Class Racing Award, ISHC Combination Award.

Unlike most Siberian's, Dmitri was totally trustworthy
off leash and right after chasing sandpipers on the beach,
in lead back in harness, he would run right
past them unnoticed, the professional sled dog.

Huskihaus Dziwa 1974-1987
(Troll's Tumak of Seabreese x Snoshu's Tai Tai of Hushihaus)
Command Lead Dog, Iditarod Veteran, ISHC Iditarod Award,
ISHC Limited Class Racing Award

Dziwa was a class act, but she loved to test new drivers,
like seeing what Terry Hinesly would do if she stopped
the team in quicksand while running in the Oregon Dunes!
She always seemed so calm in harness that it took me years
to discover she was the one that would make the team
"frog" (jump up and go without a command).

Huskihaus Indy D of Kiska M 1982-1997
(
Alaskan's Knikie of Anadyr- Huskihaus Dziwa)
Owner Terry Hinesly
Command lead dog, Iditarod Veteran , His nickname
in Alaska was "The Oregon Bulldozer"
because he would go where no other leader
would attempt! His semen and his son's were exported
to Australia. Also exported were two of his grandkids,
so many Siberians in Oz are related to Huskihaus siberians.

Windsong of Sepp-alta )

Breeder Linda Roberson

Seal's claim to fame was winning Best of breed at the
Cascade Sled dog Club match 4 Times under top
musher judges such as Ann Stead.
She was bred to Indy to Produce Terry Hinesly's nice leader
Huskihaus Ruby of Kiska M, and Takotna and Koyuk
pictured below. She was also leased to Des and Mary Cole
and has Champion grandkids in the showring. Another son
Jaime from an earlier litter sired by Huskihaus Eikon
also ran lead on the Iditarod, retired at age 11 from the
team and then sired his first litter!

Seal's maternal granddam Zeya was an import from Russia.
The only new "Siberian", recognized by AKC since 1930.
She was a Russian hunting Laika , the closest breed in
Russia to the early siberian imports that founded the breed
in Alaska at the turn of the century.
Zeya's pedigree

USSR Hunting Laika Stamps. Zeya looked
much like the dog in the hunting scene.
